Vic's Auto and Performance originally started as Knight Auto Inc. which was opened by Victor's Grandfather Thomas Knight and Victors father Milton Knight Sr. in 1947. Milton Knight Sr. ran his business out of vans to supply service stations with auto parts. Milton Sr. then opened the first store in 1956 in Union Lake Michigan. In 1969, he then built a 4800 sq. foot building located at 2450 Union Lake Rd. where the business still operates today by Victor Knight, Milton Knight Sr.'s son,under the name Vic's Auto and Performance. Vic's Auto and Performance specializes in auto parts, performance auto parts, and automotive machining. Victor was born and raised in Michigan attending Waterford High School and eventually graduating from West Bloomfield High School. After, Victor attended Ferris State University from 1974-1975, where he studied in the Automotive Machine and Service program. After college, Victor then built the machine shop at, what was, "Knights Auto Supply". Under the new name Vic's Auto and Performance, Victor leads his staff with 42+ years of experience and is known not only for his exceptional customer service, but also for his automotive machine shop expertise. Bob Dunning is the general manager at Vic's auto and Performance and has 38+ years of experience in the auto supply and performance parts business himself. Both Victor and Bob strive to maintain a great customer experience and life-long loyalty to their customers.
